Wayne D. Moschella serves as a Part 135 Pilot at Plane Travel, LLC, bringing over 36,000 hours of worldwide flying experience and a distinguished career in commercial aviation to ensure safe and reliable operations across the company's fleet. Holding an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with ratings in Airplane Single and Multi-Engine Land (ASMEL), type ratings in B-727, B-737, B-777, CE-500, CL-600/604 SIC, Flight Engineer Turbojet (FE-TJ), and Restricted Privileges Certificate (RPC), along with Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) ratings in Airplane, Instrument, Multi-Engine, Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI), and Instrument Ground Instructor (IGI), Wayne also possesses a USCG Master Ocean Operators license for powered vessels on all oceans. With excellent health holding an FAA Class 1 medical, FCC Restricted Radiotelephone license, and a valid U.S. passport, he excels in piloting aircraft including PIC on BE-55, BE-58, PA-31, C-340, and PIC/SIC on CE-501 for cargo and passenger missions in the southeast USA and the Bahamas.

Wayne's illustrious career includes over three decades at People Express, Continental, and United Airlines from 1982 to 2018, where he advanced from First Officer on B-737 to Captain on B-737 and B-777, accumulating extensive international experience in inertial, Doppler, Loran, Omega, celestial, polar, oceanic navigation, Cat III a/b approaches, ETOPS, RVSM, RNAV/RNP, and high-altitude operations. Prior roles include Co-Pilot and Flight Engineer on DC-8 and B-727 at Braniff International Airlines (1977–1982) and B-727 Ground, Simulator, and Aircraft Instructor at Burnside-Ott Aviation Training Center (1977), specializing in ATP type ratings and flight engineer certifications. A recipient of the FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award, Wayne is a current CFI and 18-year owner of a D-55 Baron, demonstrating his commitment to aviation excellence.
