Responsibilities
- Lead as Pilot in Command (PIC) for charter flights under 135 Charter Plane Travel, LLC, managing safe, efficient operations per Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company standards
- Handle pre-flight planning, in-flight execution, and post-flight reviews for dynamic charter missions
- Deliver expert flight training as needed at Accelerated IFR Training, LLC, covering multi-engine and single-engine sessions with a focus on safety and skill-building
- Conduct engaging ground school instruction, in-person or remotely, on aviation fundamentals, regulations, and best practices
- Customize and refine curriculum for diverse student needs and learning styles in the flight school
- Evaluate student performance, offer actionable feedback, and endorse using the Airman Certification Standards (ACS) for Commercial Pilot Add-on Ratings
- Keep meticulous records for charter ops and training, ensuring seamless compliance across both roles
- Support aircraft operations and maintenance as required, enhancing reliability in flights and lessons
- Build an inspiring atmosphere with strong communication, public speaking, and multilingual approaches for varied backgrounds
- Stay ahead of aviation trends, regulatory updates, and innovations to excel in both charter and instructional capacities
Experience
- Solid background as a PIC in charter or commercial flying; Part 135 experience is a major plus for the primary role
- Hands-on experience as a Flight Instructor in aviation education or training environments
- Deep expertise in airframe systems, maintenance, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in developing aviation curricula and instructional strategies
- Military aviation or personnel experience is highly valued
- Exceptional at breaking down complex ideas in operational and teaching scenarios
- Strong public speaking skills with proven engaging delivery
- Multilingual capabilities a bonus for inclusive instruction
- Classroom teaching background to amplify your instructional impact
- Preferred: Experience with Beechcraft Baron 58 instruction
