With over 20 years of leadership in the aviation industry and 18 years of hands-on maintenance experience, Nicholas F. Keith serves as Director of Maintenance at Plane Travel, LLC. Holding an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license with Inspection Authorization (IA) privileges, Nick brings a wealth of expertise from Part 121 air carrier operations, Part 91 maintenance and repair, and his prior role as Assistant Director of Maintenance for a Part 135 charter operator.
Nick's career highlights include founding and leading Jet-Techs PMP, LLC, a certified Part 145 repair station, and Keith Aero, INC., where he managed complex workflows, delegated critical tasks to technicians, and oversaw major airframe and engine repairs, overhauls, and modifications. At Plane Travel, he ensures timely repairs and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) for a diverse fleet, including PA-31, Beech B58, Citation 501SP, and Cessna 207 aircraft. His innovative approach emphasizes ongoing education, process improvements, and the integration of advanced tools and technologies to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
A graduate of Lincoln Land Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Aerospace Maintenance, Nick has held key roles at organizations such as Flight Star, Langa-Air, Skyline Aeronautics, and the Air Combat Museum, where he specialized in aircraft restoration, inspections, and customer relations.
